About Villa Kea...
Villa Kea is an 1800 sq. ft. newly built and furnished luxurious yet “traditional” style Greek stone home with breathtaking views of the ports of Kea and the Aegean Sea. Located on a quiet hilltop overlooking the ports of Korissia and the artistic community of Vourkari, Villa Kea is a leisurely 10-minute drive from Kea's port Korissia. The Villa is situated on a 1-acre mountainside location with spectacular views of sunsets over the Aegean Sea.
The Villa boasts 4 bedrooms which easily accommodates from 6 to 8 occupants, a beautiful modern kitchen, country dining room, and large living room with working stone fireplace, fully furnished in country style. The Villa is surrounded by multiple verandas and the master bedroom has a private balcony. Both, master bedroom and the guest suite have new queen size beds and private baths. The other two bedrooms share a full bathroom and have twin size beds and very comfortable mattresses. Sheets, linens, pillows, towels, and blankets are included for guests’ convenience.
The new modern kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, oversize refrigerator, dishwasher, and access to several storage cabinets complete with dishes, pots, coffee makers and other convenience equipment.
Other amenities include a washing machine, free access to local calls, parking on the property for three cars, an outdoor shower and tables and chairs for outdoor dining and sunbathing.
The Villa offers much privacy with the closest village, Vourkari, only 1.5 km away. The picturesque village of Ioulis with its winding white washed streets is no more than a 15-minute drive and nearby famous sand beaches a mere 5-minute drive from the Villa.
Unlike others, Kea remains a quaint, low profile, rugged island, with few tourists, and an abundance of pristine beaches, beautiful blue-green waters, and ancient cobblestone marked foot-paths, bird-watching nature reserves, few hotels and mostly, privately owned houses. Seasonally or permanently, to relax and enjoy, Kea boasts known names of the Greek and international jet-set in business, law, art and science, as it appeals to the discerning visitor who seeks tranquility, authenticity and a genuinely Aegean environment without the exaggeration, crowding and intrusions one encounters on more "developed" islands. Kea is conveniently located 45 minutes by boat from the picturesque port of Lavrio, a mere 30-minute drive from the new Athens International Airport and a one hour drive from Athens.
